Tóm tắt
- KidGuard chạy trên máy tính Windows của con. Việc con làm trên máy (chương trình nào, trang web nào, bao lâu) chỉ được lưu trên chính máy đó. Chúng tôi không có máy chủ nào nhận dữ liệu này.
- Chúng tôi không bán dữ liệu, không quảng cáo, không dùng dữ liệu để phân tích, lập hồ sơ hay huấn luyện mô hình.
- Chỉ có rất ít thông tin rời khỏi máy: tên miền máy tra cứu (gửi Cloudflare, chỉ khi bố mẹ bật bộ lọc web), một danh sách chặn công khai tải về, và tin nhắn mã hóa hai đầu qua một trạm chuyển tiếp không đọc được nội dung. Mục 5 liệt kê đủ.
- Dữ liệu của tiện ích trình duyệt (tên miền và thông tin các thẻ đang mở) chỉ được gửi cho chương trình KidGuard trên cùng máy tính này, qua Native Messaging của trình duyệt, và được lưu cục bộ trên máy. Không gửi lên đám mây hay cho bất kỳ bên thứ ba nào.

2. Ai dùng KidGuard
Bố mẹ hoặc người giám hộ hợp pháp cài KidGuard trên máy Windows của con từ 6 đến 15 tuổi. Người dùng là bố mẹ: bố mẹ đặt quy tắc, nhận cảnh báo và xem dữ liệu. KidGuard không tạo tài khoản cho con và không liên lạc với con qua email, SMS hay quảng cáo. KidGuard chỉ theo dõi tài khoản Windows mà bố mẹ chọn là "tài khoản của con"; tài khoản khác, kể cả tài khoản quản trị của bố mẹ, không bị ghi.

Nhóm của một tên miền được xác định ngay trên máy con từ danh mục đi kèm bản cài và lựa chọn của bố mẹ; KidGuard không tra cứu nhóm qua mạng và không gửi tên miền đi để phân loại.
Phiên bản này không ghi: nội dung trang web, địa chỉ đầy đủ (đường dẫn, từ khóa tìm kiếm), tiêu đề trang, tiêu đề cửa sổ, phím gõ, bộ nhớ tạm, tin nhắn, micro, camera hay ảnh chụp màn hình. Mã nguồn không có chức năng chụp màn hình hay ghi phím. Việc thu tiêu đề cửa sổ chỉ có dạng công tắc nội bộ đang tắt, và phiên bản này không có cách nào bật. Nếu sau này thêm bất kỳ thứ nào trong số đó, chúng tôi sẽ sửa chính sách này trước và báo bố mẹ trong ứng dụng.
4. Lưu ở đâu, bao lâu, bảo vệ thế nào
- Toàn bộ dữ liệu ở mục 3 nằm trong một cơ sở dữ liệu ở thư mục của KidGuard trên máy con (
%ProgramData%\KidGuard). Không có dữ liệu nào ở mục 3 được sao lên máy chủ của KidGuard. - Thời gian giữ: bản ghi chi tiết (chương trình và trang web theo thời điểm) và bản ghi tên miền bị chặn tự xóa sau 14 ngày. Tổng theo ngày, cảnh báo và lịch sử yêu cầu xin giờ tự xóa sau 90 ngày. Đây là giá trị hiện tại, có thể đổi ở bản sau; thay đổi sẽ đăng ở trang này.
- Bảo vệ: thư mục dữ liệu chỉ cho quản trị viên (và hệ thống) thay đổi; tài khoản Windows thường của con không đụng được. Cơ sở dữ liệu chưa được mã hóa nguyên tệp ở phiên bản này; các khóa bí mật KidGuard lưu được bọc bằng Windows DPAPI.
- Bố mẹ xem dữ liệu trên điện thoại qua một trang web do máy con phục vụ trong mạng Wi-Fi nhà. Kết nối này được mã hóa, và mỗi điện thoại được ghép bằng mã QR cùng PIN phụ huynh.
5. Điều gì rời khỏi máy con, và tới ai
Không có dữ liệu sử dụng (chương trình, trang web, số phút) nào được gửi tới máy chủ của KidGuard.

Máy chủ nào bạn kết nối tới cũng thấy địa chỉ IP, như mọi kết nối Internet. Cloudflare có thể giữ nhật ký nền tảng riêng, chúng tôi không kiểm soát được. KidGuard không gửi email, SMS hay quảng cáo, không theo dõi vị trí, không có phân tích hay báo lỗi tự động.
6. Tiện ích trình duyệt (Chrome, Edge)
Dữ liệu của tiện ích (tên miền và thông tin các thẻ đang mở) chỉ được gửi cho chương trình KidGuard trên cùng máy tính này, qua Native Messaging của trình duyệt, và được lưu cục bộ trên máy. Không gửi lên đám mây hay cho bất kỳ bên thứ ba nào.
- Mục đích duy nhất: báo cho chương trình KidGuard trên cùng máy biết con đang ở trang web nào, để tính giờ và chặn trang bố mẹ không cho phép.
- Tiện ích đọc địa chỉ các thẻ đang mở chỉ để lấy tên miền (ví dụ
youtube.com). Nó không đọc hay gửi đường dẫn, từ khóa, tiêu đề trang hay nội dung trang, và không truy cập được thứ con gõ, biểu mẫu, cookie hay lịch sử. - Nó gửi tên miền của thẻ đang xem khi đổi thẻ, đổi cửa sổ hoặc chuyển trang, cứ khoảng mỗi 15 giây khi đang kết nối với chương trình KidGuard, và thêm một lần mỗi 30 giây (để đánh thức tiện ích nếu nó đang ngủ). Cùng tên miền, nó báo thẻ đó có đang được xem không, cửa sổ có đang được chọn không và thẻ có đang phát âm thanh không. Ngoài ra, mỗi khi địa chỉ của bất kỳ thẻ nào đổi trang, kể cả thẻ chạy ngầm không phải thẻ đang xem, nó tự gửi tên miền và số thẻ của thẻ đó mà không cần KidGuard yêu cầu (gom lại, tối đa một lần mỗi giây). Khi KidGuard yêu cầu, nó gửi thêm tên miền và số thẻ của mọi thẻ đang mở để thẻ bị chặn được thay bằng trang thông báo. Mỗi lần kết nối, nó cũng gửi tên trình duyệt (Chrome hoặc Edge), số phiên bản tiện ích và danh sách các loại trang chặn nó hiển thị được; phần này không chứa dữ liệu duyệt web. Dữ liệu chỉ đi tới chương trình KidGuard trên cùng máy qua Native Messaging của trình duyệt, và chương trình này lưu nó trên máy (mục 3 và 4). Tiện ích không tự gửi yêu cầu mạng nào và không gửi gì lên máy chủ.
- Khi một tên miền bị chặn, tiện ích thay thẻ đó bằng trang của KidGuard nói rõ lý do.
- Bản thân tiện ích không lưu gì; việc lưu do chương trình KidGuard trên máy làm.
- Tiện ích không chạy trong cửa sổ riêng tư (Incognito/InPrivate), vì bộ cài tắt các cửa sổ này.
- Nếu bố mẹ chưa cài chương trình KidGuard, tiện ích không có nơi gửi và không làm gì.
Việc sử dụng thông tin nhận từ API của Google tuân thủ Chính sách dữ liệu người dùng của Chrome Web Store, kể cả yêu cầu Sử dụng giới hạn. Dữ liệu chỉ dùng cho tính năng theo dõi thời gian và chặn nội dung mà bố mẹ yêu cầu. Chúng tôi không bán, không chuyển cho bên thứ ba để quảng cáo, chấm điểm tín dụng hay môi giới dữ liệu, và không dùng cho mục đích không liên quan. Vì dữ liệu không bao giờ đến chúng tôi, không ai ở KidGuard đọc được.
7. Bộ cài thay đổi gì khác trên máy
Để quy tắc khó bị vượt qua, bộ cài đặt chính sách trình duyệt cho mọi người dùng của Chrome và Edge: tắt cửa sổ riêng tư và chế độ khách, tắt DNS-over-HTTPS của trình duyệt, bật SafeSearch, bật chế độ hạn chế của YouTube, và chỉ cho chương trình native do hệ thống đăng ký. Bộ cài cũng đăng ký dịch vụ Windows của KidGuard và chương trình native messaging. Gỡ cài đặt sẽ xóa các thay đổi này.
8. Trẻ em
- Người dùng là bố mẹ, và bố mẹ xác nhận mình là cha mẹ hoặc người giám hộ của con, hoặc được họ cho phép.
- KidGuard lưu tên hiển thị, nhóm tuổi và dữ liệu sử dụng của con chỉ trên máy con. KidGuard không thu email, số điện thoại, vị trí hay danh bạ của con.
- Con được biết gì: khi KidGuard chạy, biểu tượng KidGuard hiện ở khay hệ thống; bấm vào đó con thấy thời gian còn lại, dòng "Máy này được bố mẹ quản lý", "KidGuard không ghi lại phím bạn gõ" và "Dữ liệu chỉ lưu trên máy này". Khi máy bị khóa hoặc sắp hết giờ, màn hình hoặc cửa sổ của KidGuard cho con biết.
- Bố mẹ có trách nhiệm tự nói với con về việc dùng KidGuard.
- Từ bản phát hành đưa lên các cửa hàng, khi cài đặt, bố mẹ được yêu cầu đồng ý Điều khoản sử dụng và Chính sách quyền riêng tư.
- Chúng tôi không cố ý gửi dữ liệu trẻ em lên máy chủ nào do chúng tôi kiểm soát (mục 4 và 5).
- Chính sách được viết có tham khảo nguyên tắc của COPPA (Mỹ) và quy định của GDPR về trẻ em, nhưng KidGuard không cung cấp cho trẻ em, hướng tới bố mẹ Việt Nam, và chúng tôi không tuyên bố tuân thủ chính thức luật nào trong hai luật đó.

10. Bảo mật
- Mọi kết nối ra ngoài dùng HTTPS/TLS. Tin nhắn qua trạm chuyển tiếp được mã hóa hai đầu (AES-256-GCM) và mọi lệnh từ điện thoại đều có chữ ký.
- Gỡ cài đặt hoặc nới giới hạn tại máy cần PIN phụ huynh; nhập sai nhiều lần bị khóa tạm. PIN được lưu dưới dạng băm PBKDF2.
- Không hệ thống nào an toàn tuyệt đối. Nếu bạn phát hiện lỗi, hãy viết tới liên hệ ở mục 1.
11. Pháp luật Việt Nam
KidGuard được vận hành từ Việt Nam.
12. Thay đổi chính sách
Khi chính sách thay đổi, chúng tôi cập nhật trang này và ngày hiệu lực. Với thay đổi quan trọng, ví dụ có loại dữ liệu mới rời khỏi máy, chúng tôi sẽ báo bố mẹ trong ứng dụng trước khi áp dụng.

Summary
- KidGuard runs on the child's Windows PC. What the child does on it (which programs, which websites, for how long) is stored only on that PC. We run no server that receives it.
- We do not sell data, show ads, or use data for analytics, profiling or model training.
- Only a little leaves the PC: the domain names the PC looks up (to Cloudflare, only while the parent has turned the web filter on), a public blocklist download, and end-to-end encrypted messages through a relay that cannot read them. Section 5 lists all of it.
- The extension's data (domain names and open-tab information) is sent only to the KidGuard program on this same PC, through the browser's Native Messaging, and is stored locally on the PC. It is not sent to any cloud or to any third party.
- This version does not take screenshots, record keystrokes or record window titles.
1. Who is responsible

2. Who uses KidGuard
KidGuard is installed by a parent or legal guardian on the Windows PC of a child aged 6 to 15. The parent is the user: the parent sets the rules, gets the alerts and views the data. KidGuard creates no account for the child and does not contact the child through email, SMS or ads. It monitors only the Windows account the parent chose as "the child's account"; other accounts, including the parent's administrator account, are not recorded.

The group of a domain is decided on the child PC from a catalogue shipped with the app and the parent's choices; KidGuard does not look up groups over the network and does not send domains out for classification.
KidGuard does not record in this version: page content, full addresses (paths or search terms), page titles, window titles, keystrokes, clipboard, messages, microphone, camera or screenshots. The code has no screenshot or keystroke recording. Window-title collection exists as an internal switch that is off and has no way to be turned on in this version. If we add any of these later, we will update this policy first and tell parents in the app.
4. Where it is stored, how long, how it is protected
- All of the data in section 3 is stored in a database in KidGuard's folder on the child PC (
%ProgramData%\KidGuard). Nothing in section 3 is copied to a KidGuard server. - Retention: detailed records (programs and websites with times) and blocked-domain records are deleted after 14 days. Daily totals, alerts and request history are deleted after 90 days. These are the current values and may change in later versions; a change will be posted on this page.
- Protection: the data folder is set so that only administrators can change it, and the child's standard Windows account cannot. The database is not encrypted as a whole file in this version; cryptographic keys that KidGuard stores are wrapped with Windows DPAPI.
- Parents see the data on their phone in a web page served by the child PC over the home Wi-Fi network. That connection is encrypted and each phone is paired with a QR code and the parent PIN.
5. What leaves the child PC, and to whom
No usage data (programs, websites, minutes) is sent to any KidGuard server.

Any server you connect to sees the IP address, as on any Internet connection. Cloudflare may keep its own platform logs, which we do not control. KidGuard sends no email, SMS or ad, does not track location, and has no analytics or crash reporting.
6. Browser extension (Chrome, Edge)
The extension's data (domain names and open-tab information) is sent only to the KidGuard program on this same PC, through the browser's Native Messaging, and is stored locally on the PC. It is not sent to any cloud or to any third party.
- Single purpose: tell the KidGuard program on the same PC which website the child is on, so it can count the time and block pages the parent has not allowed.
- The extension reads the address of open tabs only to take the host name (for example
youtube.com). It does not read or send the path, query, page title or page content, and has no access to what is typed, forms, cookies or history. - It sends the host name of the focused tab when you switch tabs or windows or a page changes, about every 15 seconds while it is connected to the KidGuard program, and once more every 30 seconds (to wake the extension if it is asleep). With the host name it reports whether that tab is the active one, whether its window is focused and whether the tab is playing sound. In addition, whenever the address of any tab changes page, including a background tab that is not the one being viewed, it sends that tab's host name and tab number without being asked (batched, at most once per second). When KidGuard asks, it also sends the host names and tab numbers of all open tabs so blocked ones can be closed or replaced. On every connection it also sends the browser name (Chrome or Edge), the extension version and the list of block-page types it can show; this carries no browsing data. This goes only to the KidGuard native program on the same PC through the browser's Native Messaging, and that program stores it on the PC (sections 3 and 4). The extension makes no network request and sends nothing to a server.
- When a host is blocked, the extension replaces that tab with a KidGuard page saying why.
- The extension itself stores nothing; the KidGuard program on the PC does the storing.
- It is not active in private (Incognito/InPrivate) windows, which the installer turns off.
- Without the KidGuard program installed by a parent, the extension has nothing to send to and does nothing.
Use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The data is used only for the time-monitoring and content-blocking features the parent asked for. We do not sell it, do not transfer it for advertising, credit scoring or data brokering, and do not use it for unrelated purposes. Because it never reaches us, no one at KidGuard can read it.
7. Other changes the installer makes on the PC
To make the rules hard to bypass, the installer sets browser policies for all users of Chrome and Edge: private windows and guest mode off, browser DNS-over-HTTPS off, SafeSearch on, YouTube restricted mode on, and only the system-registered native program allowed. It registers KidGuard's Windows service and the native messaging program. Uninstalling removes them.
8. Children
- The parent is the user and confirms being the child's parent or guardian, or acting with their permission.
- KidGuard stores the child's display name, age group and usage data on the child PC only. It does not collect the child's email, phone number, location or contacts.
- What the child is told: while KidGuard runs, its icon is in the system tray; clicking it shows the time left, the line "Máy này được bố mẹ quản lý" (this PC is managed by your parents), "KidGuard không ghi lại phím bạn gõ" (KidGuard does not record the keys you type) and "Dữ liệu chỉ lưu trên máy này" (data is stored only on this PC). When the PC is locked or time is about to run out, KidGuard's screen or window tells the child.
- The parent is responsible for telling the child about KidGuard.
- From the release that goes to the stores, at install the parent is asked to agree to the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy.
- We do not knowingly send children's data to any server we control (sections 4 and 5).
- This policy is written with the principles of COPPA (US) and the GDPR's rules for children in mind, but KidGuard is not offered to children, targets Vietnamese parents, and we make no claim of formal compliance with either.
9. Your choices and rights

Because the data is on the PC, access and deletion are done there by the parent. To ask us anything, write to the contact in section 1. We answer within 30 days.
10. Security
- All outbound connections use HTTPS/TLS. Messages through the relay are end-to-end encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and every phone command is signed.
- Uninstalling or loosening limits at the PC needs the parent's PIN; repeated wrong PINs lock it for a time. The PIN is stored as a PBKDF2 hash.
- No system is perfectly secure. If you find a problem, write to the contact in section 1.
11. Vietnamese law
KidGuard is operated from Vietnam.
12. Changes to this policy
When the policy changes we update this page and the effective date. For a material change, such as a new kind of data leaving the PC, we will tell parents in the app before it applies.
